Your role
As a supply chain coordinator at The Box Seat you are responsible for overseeing and managing a dynamic network of suppliers in a fast-paced industry. You will do this by:
- Optimising an efficient supply chain strategy.
- Coordinating purchasing, production planning and inventory management to ensure timely deliveries.
- Analyze supply chain performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Leading and optimising production processes to ensure efficiency, quality and cost control.
- Monitoring production capacity and implementing improvements in collaboration with international suppliers and operational teams.
- Manage supplier relationships
- Coordinating internal and external supply chain operations, including transportation and distribution.
You Are
The seating industry is highly dynamic. This means there is often extreme time pressure to deliver but also times where production slows down. As a result you should:
- Have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferably within a technical production environment.
- Have strong leadership skills with experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- have good analytical thinking and experience with data-driven decision-making.
- Be results-oriented and skilled in setting and achieving operational goals.
- Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Have a strong desire to take initiative to learn the ins and outs of the company and look for improvements within your role.
- We are predominantly an English spoken company; fluency in both Dutch and English is very important.
- Having a forklift license is a bonus but not required.
